This site sets no cookies.

That is why there is no cookie banner asking you to accept anything. There is nothing to accept.

What that means

• We never use advertising or social-media trackers.
• We do not use Google Analytics, or any other analytics company. We count visits with our own code, on our own site. It records which pages you read and which buttons you tapped. We attach all of it to a random number, and your browser forgets that number when you close the tab. We never sell it, never share it, and never connect it to anything you do anywhere else.
• Your browser does keep one thing while the tab is open. It is a short random code named sila-note-sid. It lets us count all the pages you read as one visit. Close the tab and it is gone. It is not a cookie, and we never send it to anybody else.
• The only other thing this site collects is whatever you type into the free website sample form. That form also carries the first page you opened, and the link that sent you here. It is how we see which of our pages actually helped. Our privacy policy says what happens to all of it.
