Silavelle ("we", "us") is an Ottawa, Ontario digital studio. We take privacy seriously and handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This policy explains what we collect on this website, why, and your choices.
Who is accountable
The founder of Silavelle is accountable for our privacy practices. For any privacy question, request, or complaint, contact hello@silavelle.ca.
What we collect
- Teardown request form: your name, business name, website address, email address, and anything you choose to write in the message field.
- Email correspondence: what you send us when you email us.
This website does not require accounts, does not process payments, and does not use advertising trackers. See our cookie notice for details.
Why we collect it
- To prepare and deliver the free growth teardown you requested.
- To respond to your questions.
- To follow up about our services, only with your express consent, given via the unticked checkbox on the form. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any message.
Use and disclosure
We never sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run this site: our hosting and form provider (Netlify, which may process form submissions on servers in the United States) and our email provider, and, only if you accept analytics on our banner, Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymization; data may be processed in the United States), or where the law requires disclosure.
Retention
We keep teardown requests and related correspondence only as long as needed for the purposes above, and delete them no later than 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client (in which case our client agreement governs).
Safeguards
This site is served over TLS encryption. Access to submissions is limited to the founder, and we use reputable providers with their own security programs.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@silavelle.ca. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact theOffice of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here with a new "last updated" date.
